AMA Pro/Am Championship Series

CCS was considered "part of" the AMA from about 1986 until June of 1994. The official title of their series was the AMA Pro-Am Championship Series, and it was listed as the "organizing body" for the classes shown below. There was also an endurance series run back in the '80s as well as a night race at Daytona (The Paul Revere 200?) on the 4th of July.
Running for almost 8 years, the AMA/CCS was the longest stint (thus far) for any CCS "pro" series. Roger Edmondson and his staff of family members and others handled operations out of his North Carolina home under the corporate name of AMA-RMS, Inc., which was formed in 1992. He eventually moved the offices to proper building space twice.
The below logos were scanned from an art slick that Roger gave us in 1989.

Thanks to Jim McConnell, we have this digital photo of a 1991 plaque we made for the AMA Pro-Am Championship Series.
Each person received an 8" x 10" plaque with their name engraved which had rings attached on the bottom edge. Each weekend racers winning 1st through 5th in class received the bottom "hanging plaques" (wood pieces with cup hooks at the top and eye loops at the bottom). Colors designated the places: 1st was blue; 2nd was red; 3rd was white and so on.
We are actively seeking more photos of trophies from this time period. If you have any pictures to share, let us know!
Thanks in advance! A & J
