About A & J Recognition
A & J Recognition is a privately-owned and operated awards and recognition provider specializing in trophies, plaques, engraving, and promotional products for racing community and related corporate and private interests.
A home-based business, the company was founded in 1997 by owners Alan and Jeanne Muse who previously owned the retail store The Awards Center, Inc. (formerly known as Goosmann's Trophy Center and Jostens Award Center) in Asheville, North Carolina, of which they remain members of the Board of Directors.
The owners have 30 years experience in the recognition and the advertising specialty product industries. The company maintains active accounts with over 50 major manufacturers and distributors, both in the United States and abroad, to offer their customers a wide range of products and prices.
A & J Recognition's most prominent customer is the American SportBike Racing Association and its Championship Cup Series division, an account which has been maintained by the owners since 1988. The company designed, and owns the copyright for, several custom awards for the exclusive use of CCS/ASRA, including the Race of Champions "Rocky" sculpture and the CCS Region Championship trophy.
A Personal Note from the Owners
Even though many of you know us as CCS Race Officials in the SouthEast and Mid-Atlantic regions, our real job for over 25 years has been trophies.
Our normal schedule as CCS Race Officials includes all of the SouthEast & Mid-Atlantic regions. Not only do we enjoy working for them, we are their biggest fans! Occasionally we're needed at tracks outside our normal turf, and we gladly drop whatever we're doing to lend a helping hand. In addition, Jeanne is the webmistress for the CCS website.
